About

Plant life takes on an amazing variety of forms and functions. I seek to understand why and how that occurs, and am curious about the ways in which plants are shaped through their co-evolution with humans.

My name is Keith Williams (LinkedIn Profile) and I work on a variety of projects involving live plant materials — everything from early stage crop breeding pipeline setup through business development and product commercialization. I have always loved working with plants and followed that interest from my youth in metro Detroit all the way through Cornell University’s Plant Breeding Department where I earned my PhD in wheat breeding & genetics. The easiest way to describe what I do is that I like to grow a wide variety of unique plants, make new things and contribute to the creation of new businesses and brands.

As a freelance researcher and product developer I work on both project-defined and retainer basis with a wide variety of passionate people. If you’re looking for someone to help guide your next exciting botanical project, reach out. I’d love to talk with you.
